St Anthony Hospital's Flight for Life has flown over 85,000 emergency missions and was the first civilian airborn emergency medical service in the US. It was founded in 1972 and continues to be an integral part of the emergency medical chain in Colorado and the Rocky Mountain West. It supports over 200 communities across 9 states.
